Instructions:

Installation

1. First, be certain that your phone is among the list of Salling Clicker supported devices for Mac. Second, make sure your Apple CPU is functioning to spec and your copies of Ableton Live and Salling Clicker are installed and running properly.

2. After clicking yes that you agree to the terms of the license, you’ll be directed to the download page. Your gonna wanna drag In the CGZ icon from the download page directly to the Salling Clicker "Scripts" window and then from there to the "Clicker Items" window. (Keep in mind: that Salling Clicker is installed as a System Preference.)

3. After clicking "Apply Now" in Salling Clicker, you will be able to activate LiveController through the Accessories menu on your phone.

4. When you select LiveController from the available clicker scripts on your phone, Live will open (if it's not open all ready.)

5. Make sure your phone is connected to Salling Clicker and "LiveController" is on the its' display. Put Ableton Live in Key Map Mode and assign the numbers 0 - 9 and the letters Q, R,I, P and N to whatever you wish. *Note: The numbers you'll be assigning are those at the top of your keyboard, not on the right (if you have an extended keyboard)

6. You can assign the commands direct from the keypad on your phone (Salling Clicker must be connected to your phone and in Live must be in Key Map Mode) or you can assign from the computer keyboard.

7. SPECIAL BUTTONS; Q, R, I, P and N: You should also know that while the numbers on your computer are linked to the numbers on your phone, the letters Q, R, I, P and N on your computer keyboard are actually linked to the 5-way button (or joystick) on your phone. AND, except for N, are set to repeat if held down.

8. You can view the help menu which is a quick way to reference the legend by pressing the # key on your phone (or see below.)

9. Exit Key Map Mode and start controlling Live!
